Two-day course
| Two-day training courses are held on Thursdays and Fridays. The course shall comprise a maximum of three trainees and over the two days each will have 5 instructional flights with a qualified gliding instructor in a two-seat dual-control glider. The trainee will be shown how the controls work in flight and will have a good opportunity to handle the controls under the watchful eye of the instructor. In addition, the course will cover all aspects of ground handling together with an introduction to other topics as appropriate. Participants will receive a pilots' log book to record their flying progress. The course will commence at 0930 hrs and end at 1700 hrs each day. In the event that bad weather seriously curtails or prevents course flying, a pro-rata or full refund will be made. |  |
| Charges - £350 for adults and £ TBA for under 18's & full time students. The price includes 3 months full membership of the club. To book a place please call the club mobile on 07709 808276. Courses may be arranged at any time to suit demand. For planned dates click here. | Accommodation - Accommodation and meals are not included but B&B and guest house accommodation is available nearby at very reasonable prices. Participants may use the clubhouse kitchen to heat or prepare food. There is no extra charge for course members who wish to camp on site during the course. Toilets, showers and drinking water are available. |
